About
A writer, editor and designer, Nick earned his bachelor of arts in magazine journalism from the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication in 2008. Nick is also a graduate of the Robert D. Clark Honors College, a small, selective liberal-arts college within the university campus, where he wrote a thesis with a very long title dissecting the online virtual world of Second Life as represented and interpreted in the mass media. His work and academic experience have run the gamut of modern journalism, placing him in the shoes of a page designer for a daily paper, an editor for one of the top student magazines in the country, and a freelance journalist, blogger and editor.
Currently, Nick is pursuing a career in the video game industry and plans to relocate to Seattle in the near future. In the meantime, please feel free to take a look at Silicon Sasquatch, a Pacific Northwest-based video game blog he co-founded in 2008.
